Finally, two presidential candidates have arrived at the Bomas of Kenya ahead of an announcement of the president elect of the republic of Kenya by independent electoral and boundaries commission (IEBC) chairperson Wafula Chebukati.
Those who arrived are presidential candidate George Wajackoyah and Mwaure Waihiga. Their arrival comes as the nation awaits the arrival of other candidates William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza alliance and Raila Odinga of Azimio la umoja One Kenya coalition party.
The announcement of president elect will bring to an end several days of waiting and anxiousness where the country was patiently waiting to know who the next president of the republic would be following the conclusion of voting.
The announcement of country's top most seat shall also come at a time when the nation faces difficult economic times. Both candidates have promised to revamp the economy, manage debt and ensure social justice. The president elect is expected to be sworn into office after fourteen days if no petition is filed at the Supreme court.
