
The race to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta is taking new shape. The two presidential candidate, Ruto and Raila are already out to popularise their manifesto as August polls draws nearer.
According to tomorrow's paper by the Star. A new opinion poll conducted by Radio Africa has revealed the possible percentage of votes the four main candidates can garner if elections were to be held today.
Ruto is still ahead with 46.1% followed closely by Raila at 35.1%. The ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi who is expected to make major announcement in 23rd of this month comes third with 2.4% while Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka might get 1.4%. Radio Africa has been publishing monthly opinion polls on how the presidential candidate are fairing on a head of August polls.The new survey reveals that Raila has overtaken Ruto in Western and Coast.
Ruto's popularity had continued to decline ever since the other people declared their interest to contest for the top seat.
