Mammoth Of People Flock Lusaka To Witness Hichilema's Inauguration: Kenya President Graces The Event

Many people have today flocked the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka, Zambia to witness the inauguration of the new 7th President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema together with his deputy Mrs. Mutale Nalumango. Several Heads of State like President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, Madam Samia Suluhu of Tanzania etc. and several opposition leader's from different countries graced the occasion making it a success.

Hichilema will now serve the Republic of Zambia with zeal after taking the mantle today from the former President Edgar Lungu. He defeated Lungu with a margin difference of almost a million votes. He garnered 2,810,757 while Lungu got 1,814,201 votes. However, Lungu conceded defeat and has peacefully transferred power to Hichilema. Precisely, the two have pledged to work together for the betterment of Zambia.

Hichilema's inauguration was preceded by Zambia's acting Chief Justice Michael Musonda and during his speech, Hichilema said that his administration will give equal opportunity to all Zambian's and pledged to ensure all citizen's enjoy their freedom as guaranteed by the constitution.
