The former premier Raila Odinga has been trying to climb Mt Kenya region politically but seemingly it's proving difficult. This happened today for as much as he tried to speak to the people Ruto chant slogans overpowered his speech.
As he tried to tell the people of whet he could do come the 2022 general election, he was met with Ruto chants largely disrupting his speech. He first said of that he would do but was told off for Ruto is the kingpin of the Mt Kenya region ahead of the 2022 general.
It's clear the deputy president William Ruto has been into the Mt Kenya region more than any of the presidential candidates. This confirms Ruto chances of forming the next government of course with the Mt Kenya region is something very real.
It's clear the people seem to have opted to work with William Ruto though he has some of the leaders supporting his candidature as other bigwigs oppose him. The fact of the matter is that moving into the 2022 general election the Mt Kenya region might support Ruto to the last man as opposed to perceived Raila Odinga inroads.
