James Orengo is a well-known lawyer in Kenyan politics. He is one of the few Kenyan politicians with international recognition. Senator James Orengo is the current Senator for Kenya's Lakeside Region's Siaya County. He was elected to the Senate on the Orange Democratic Movement's ticket in Kenya's 2017 general elections. He is linked to former Prime Minister Hon Raila Amolo Odinga and a prominent critic of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto.
Senator James Orengo has detailed what happened between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Arap Ruto, which resulted in the latter's resignation from Kenya's ruling Jubilee Coalition party. President Uhuru Kenyatta, he claims, has ordered that DP William Ruto restore all of the land he allegedly stole from Kenyans. DP Ruto was adamant that he not be pulled out of Jubilee.
Do you think James Orengo's sentiments are true? Please share your thoughts with us.
