Raila Odinga, the head of the ODM, would be forced to quit from active politics if the Supreme Court upholds Deputy President William Ruto's victory on Monday, predicts political analyst Fred Sasia.

Ruto was named the victor of the presidential election on August 15. This announcement was challenged by Raila, who was seeking election through the Azimio La Umoja coalition, and she petitioned the Supreme Court to have it annulled. He asserts that Monday's decision, which will determine whether or not the former prime minister may run again, will have a significant impact.
According to him, Raila, a long-serving politician, would be obliged to divert his attention to something else due to his advanced age if the seven judges upheld the IEBC announcement. On the other hand, he thinks Raila would have a second chance to convince Kenyans to elect him if the court overturns Ruto's victory.
Raila admitted that the election was fraudulent.
