Ruto has continued to reap big in the central region where he has managed to convince several leaders to join him and back his bid to succeed President Kenyatta. The latest entry to his camp being Kiambu women representative Gathoni wa Muchomba.

According to today’s Taifa Leo newspaper, a relentless Ruto is stopping at nothing to ensure that he wins massive support from Uhuru’s backyard. The latest reports indicate that he is planning to recruit new members to his team.
Some of the targeted members include politicians who are strongly inclined to the President. His strategy seems to be bearing fruit after it emerged that several leaders have already promised to join him in his UDA alliance.
As the election draws closer Ruto hopes that the region will support his bid after falling out with his boss Uhuru Kenyatta who is the kingpin and spokesperson of the region.
