The Kenya Kwanza team in Kiambu County has faced a lot of setbacks due to sibling rivalry witnessed among various aspirants eying the gubernatorial seat. This has led to many rants and allegations of unfair treatment among various principals in the nascent Kenya Kwanza outfit.
It all started with the Tujibabe Party leader William Kabogo and Chama Cha Kazi supremo Moses Kuria crying foul play and accusing of the UDA Deputy President designate Rigathi Gachagua of being a dictator and showing favoritism during Kiambu County rallies. This made the two leaders threaten to decamp from Ruto's side and patch their own routes if not treated equally.
As the political rivalry escalated, Kabogo decided to give Kenya Kwanza rallies a wide berth and the animosity remained between Moses Kuria and Senator Kimani Wamatangi who is the UDA gubernatorial candidate. Today, several Azimio bloggers begun peddling rumours of Kabogo shelving his ambition to back the Jubilee candidate and incumbent Govenor James Nyoro. However, the Tujibebe Party leader has finally revealed details of his whereabouts after hitting a campaign trail to hunt for votes.
"From Kikuyu Constituency ndio hio, hii safari tutatembea pamoja. #Kabakabogo #TujengeKiambu," posted giving a clear impression of his determination to get elected and clinch the gubernatorial seat.
