The United Democratic Alliance party which is the party of Deputy President William Ruto made some appointment of 31 National officials team that will represent them and carry out political and campaigning responsibilities.
This major appointment has been criticised by Prominent City Lawyer Donald Kipkorir who has accused Deputy President William Ruto and his team of being tribal.
Donald took to his Twitter podcast where he stated: "Whilst on short break from here, am told uda imposed 31 National officials to represent the face of Kenya: In it, there are no Muslims, Somalis, Turkana, Teso, Mama Mboga … And of the 31 Officials, Kikuyu & Kalenjin are 22; 39%. So much for the National Party. And democracy."
This allegation by Donald Kipkorir was seconded by netizens who condemned the party who are busy preaching for national equality and politics without tribalism, but their party is not adhering to what they claim.
