Siaya Governor lawyer James Aggrey Orengo has now faulted the former president Uhuru Kenyatta for having failed to appoint the six Judges who were nominated for various positions in the year 2019 by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Orengo tweeted on Wednesday, September 13, just moments after the six judges were sworn into office by president William Ruto.
In the tweet, Orengo stated that Uhuru had no any justification to refuse the swearing in of the said judges.
"There was no justification at all to frustrate the appointment of the judges of the court of appeal, some of the best judicial brains. Kudos to Muchelule, Korir, Ngugi, Makori and Omange," Orengo stated.
President William Ruto immediately appointed the six judges after assuming the office of President and they were later sworn into office on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 in the presided over by the chief justice Martha Koome and president William Ruto.
