Major Boost to Kenya kwanza Camp after Kiraitu Murungi from Azimio Defected to the Camp.

President-elect D.r William Ruto on Friday led his Kenya concert in receiving the Devolution Employment Party to the Kenya kwanza Coalition led by the( DEP) Devolution empowerment party leader and the former Governor of Meru County.

While receiving the leadership of DEP led by former Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi at his Karen Office, Nairobi, Ruto noted that their resolution to work with Kenya Kwanza was an indication that the people’s interests override personal interests.

The two leaders signed a post-election agreement a move that boosts a president-elect's efforts to consolidate his support both in parliament and nationally.

While Ruto received Kiraitu to Kenya kwanza Azimio la Umoja One Kenya's presidential running mate Martha Karua was in Meru where he said as a coalition that will accept and respect the supreme court's decision on the presidential petition.

The leaders say they share a common goal with that of Kenya kwanza whose main agenda is improving the living standards of Kenyans at large DEP and the Kenya Kwanza Alliance have no ideological differences.

Kiraitu; we in the past have a dream of transferring more resources to our people's grassroots empowering and uprooting them from poverty and employment and social backwardness while receiving them

Ruto said that the move was a selfless one which according to him is a clear indication that they had Kenyan interests at heart.

Ruto; you cannot build a party using threats blackmail and intimidation you build a political party or formation by selling ideas agenda a program and a plan that people can buy into freely and democratically.

Other leaders who attended the event at his Karen residency included deputy president-elect Rigathi Gachagua and Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula of ford Kenya democratic party, Justin muturi among others.
