Baringo Senator Hon. Gideon Moi who is also a 2022 Presidential hopeful is indeed rising day by day, Gedion the son of the second president of the republic of Kenya H.E Daniel Moi, is currently at the centre of the succession politics, Moi who is the chairman of the independence party, KANU, is being perceived as the best candidate suited to succeed president Uhuru Kenyatta.
Moi, in his quest to become the fifth president of Kenya, has been holding high profile meetings, trying to owe other players into his camp. Gideon has also partnered with various politicians and is currently working on bringing the former prime minister Hon. Raila into his camp.
Moi has won a number of Jubilee politicians and is still working on winning more from across the Political divide. Today his party KANU held a consultative meeting with the United Democratic Party members who expressed their interest to work with his party and to support his ambitions
The news was updated by the KANU party through their official social media handles. "A section of United Democratic Party officials from Kakamega County have today had a consultative meeting at our headquarters where they expressed their interests to work with our party and support the ambitions of Senator Gideon Moi" The party stated.
This is a boost to the Baringo Senator who is working on taking over the control of the Rift Valley region from the deputy president William Ruto and at the same time working on making the KANU party have a national outlook.
