A section of Abaluhya leaders this morning have endorsed Dr. Mukhisha Kituyi as a presidential aspirant from the luyha community in the event that was officiated by NARC Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua, Makueni Governor Kivuta Kibwana among other leaders.
The leaders have termed Kituyi as the only hopeful presidential candidate who can change economy of the country and take it to another level of productivity, the event happened at Kituyi's home in Tongaren Bungoma county.
The endorsement of Kituyi comes just few days after ANC party leader Hon Musalua Mudavadi who hails from the region was also endorsed and has launched several campaigns across the country in the favour of his presidential quest.
This will not cause a major division in the Luyha community because some members will be affiliated to Mudavadi while others to Kituyi and it should also be noted that some political leaders from the region are affiliated to Dp Ruto and others to Raila Odinga cause a serge division in the western region.
