Former Citizen TV journalist Hussein Mohammed has finally resurfaced today after landing a new job in Deputy President William Samoei Ruto's presidential campaigns team. Years after leaving the Royal Media Services (RMS) owned TV station, Mohamed has been appointed as the director of communications of DP Ruto's presidential campaigns team.

Many politicians allied to DP Ruto and ordinary Kenyans subscribing to UDA ideologies have continued to take to their social media pages to congratulate the talented journalist. At the same time others have done the contrary.
Hours after being appointed, Mohammed has taken to his official Twitter page to thank the Deputy President.
"Asante Your Excellency! I share with the hustler story and so do majority of Kenyans. Nothing gives me more pleasure than being part of this team that is driving a paradigm shift in our politics and ultimately, Governance! From Top-down, to bottom-up!" He tweeted.
