DP Ruto took campaigns to Tharaka Nithi county where he was warmly welcomed by the residents. During the rally, some of his key allies in the region has another chance to be backed by DP Ruto as they campaigned in the company of their boss. One of his allies called Muthoni Njuki asked the people a random question about who they will vote in August.
When Muthoni Njuki asked them a question on how the government changed when Raila joined Uhuru and asked them to chose who they will vote for, the people chose DP Ruto. Muthoni could be heard saying " wakati mkiwa na Ruto Bei ya unga ilikuwa Ksh.250?". The people said " Hapana" in large voices. He went ahead and added asking them;
" ... Hiyo inaonyesha kati ya Ruto na Raila nani atafanya kazi?". Muthoni asked this question as the people responded in large voices saying DP Ruto is the only person who can perform and change economy of this country.
