The mashujaa day celebration is a day meant to celebrate the Kenya national heroes and heroins in our midst. Those who fought for independence,the athletes and other important people in our lives as individuals and country.
The list of things and event to be observed has been released to the media and it is meant to start with lady Margaret Kenyatta being met by chief of the Kenya defense forces hon kibicho.
After that the president will be escorted by Kibicho to the ceremonial vehicle. After that first lady Margaret Kenyatta will be escorted to the presidential dias. Uhuru Kenyatta will then have a roll around the stadium greeting wananchi after which he will mount the ceremonial vehicle.
The Kenya national anthem and the east African Community anthem will be sang. A guard of honour will be inspected by president Uhuru Kenyatta after there he proceeds to the presidential dias. The guard of Honor will match off to page way for the Kenya airforce to showcase their flights. Prayers and entertainment will then follow before the host who is kirinyaga County governor Ann Waiguru to make her remarks and invite deputy president William Ruto. After speaking Ruto will invite Uhuru Kenyatta who will then address the Nation before the state motorcade leaving the stadium.
The name of the opposition chief Raila Odinga is not in the list and might not talk considering the protocols to be followed in the event.
