Reliable reports have emerged that the orange democratic movement (ODM) party leader honorable Raila odinga convened a meeting with the ministry of interior and coordination of national government cabinet secretary Dr Fred matiang'i. This meeting is a result of what happened during the Bonchari constituency by-election, there was a show of power and mighty between Dr Fred matiang'i, Raila odinga and Dr Ruto. However, mr Pavel oimeke an ODM candidate and allied to former prime minister won the election.
Currently according to the reports from the star newspaper, Dr Fred matiang'i is being tuned-in for the top seat in the country by the orange democratic movement (ODM) party leader Raila odinga. It has also been revealed that the former prime minister is after bringing Dr matiang'i on board in order to unite the whole of nyanza region and vote as a bloc come 2022 general election. In addition, there is a plan for another meeting that will include all the politicians from nyanza region that are allied to Raila odinga to discuss about the interior c.s’s candidature in the next general election.
