As the August elections approach, political candidates running for office are busy touring the country to publicize their candidacies.
Mizani Africa has been conducting a poll on the popularity of political candidates in the run-up to the August elections.
And now, Mizani Africa has released opinion polls for Nandi Hills parliamentary seat. According to the polls, UDA candidate Hon Bernard Kitur has shown dust the current Member of Parliament Hon Alfred Keter who is defending his seat as an independent candidate.
The polls show that Hon Bernard Kitur enjoys a popularity of 52.7% while Hon Alfred Kiptoo Keter is at 41.1% ahead of the 9th of August general elections. The gap between the two candidates is 11.3 percent.
It is known that Hon Keter did participate in UDA nominations but the ticket was awarded to Hon kitur over loyalty to Deputy President William Ruto.
UDA Party is expected to scoop all the seats in Nandi county as the region is considered the Deputy President William Ruto's strongholds.
