The process of determining who would be Raila Odinga's running partner is anticipated to begin today. A seven-member panel committee will begin interviewing potential running mates today and will continue until the 10th of this month.
However, with his newest comments, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka may have forgotten that he was Raila's running partner. Musyoka has said that he would not come before the panel for an interview.
According to a statement released by the mainstream media, Kalonzo Musyoka has said that he would not participate in the aforementioned procedure, alleging that the whole process is very humiliating to his political future.
"I would want to inform all Kenyans that I will not be participating in the aforementioned procedure. It is humiliating to my person, and I shall consequently separate myself from it in order to protect my dignity "The Standard newspaper reported what Kalonzo had to say.
The fact that he is not attending the panel interview will put him at risk of being passed over for the position of Raila's running mate, as other potential candidates such as Martha Karua, Peter Kenneth, and Peter Munya, among others, are expected to make their way to the interview to demonstrate their suitability.
