Politics has been the talk in the country. Various leaders are busy their different political bids. One of them is deputy president William Ruto who is keen on succeeding president Uhuru Kenyatta after his term in office comes to an end in 2022. The deputy president has been hosting various powerful delegations at his official residence in Karen.
Today two former Wiper party members of parliament led a powerful delegation to deputy president William Ruto home in Karen. The delegation included grassroots and political leaders from Makueni county. Various leaders and professionals from the county attended the meeting in Karen.
The two former members of parliament includes Hon. Regina Ndambuki and Hon. Gideon Ndambuki. The two former legislators were elected on Wiper ticket before defecting to Jubilee party in 2017 were the lost their parliamentary seats. Hon. Regina Ndambuki served as Kilome constituency member of parliament and Gideon Ndambuki as Kaiti constituency member of parliament.
Speaking in the meeting, the deputy president said that this country needs a considered and planned development programmes. He called upon leaders to engage, walk together, change foundation of country's politics and create economic opportunities for all. UDA party chairman Johnstone Muthama was also present in the meeting.
