The top names in the quest include, former Kisumu Governor Hon Jack Ranguma, Kisumu senator Fred Outa, former kisumu Assembly Speaker Onyango Oloo, Chief Administrative Secretary for East Africa Community Ken Obura and incumbent Governor Ayang' Nyong'o.
Latest opinion poll results released by Consortium of Researchers on Governance (CORG) has indicated a tight race fronting Governor Anyang'Nyongo, followed by Ken Obura, Jack Ranguma and Onyango Oloo finished third and fourth respectfully.
In the survey respondents were asked who to vote would general elections be held today, Ayang' Nyong'o was voted by 39.8%, Ken Obura came second with 22.6% a difference of 17.2%, former Governor Jack Ranguma was voted 21.4% while Onyango Oloo finished fourth with 6.2% good news is that at least 19% are still undecided meaning the results can be turned and any aspirant emerge with the day.
