Babu Owino has gone ahead to claim how it is difficult for the president, William Ruto to speak the truth. He has decided to compare the situation to that of a camel fitting through a needle's eye.
One of the reasons is the issue of the scholarships offered by the University of Arizona. The president made a promise to Kenyans who attended the Jamhuri celebrations.
It is still a puzzle whether this was just a way to lure people in attending the celebration or whether it was a genuine case.
Babu Owino also questioned whether the president was fulfilling the promises he made to the low-income citizens as had said during the campaigns.
However, we still need to give the recently selected government a chance to prove that indeed, they are capable of accomplishing what they promised. Just criticizing will not be the best way to do and ensure the country is progressing.
