Preparation for 2022 Kenyan general election is taking different shapes each and everyday.Political leaders are so focused aiming to contest for different positions at different political levels.Many political leaders most so governors will be forced to flee home after completing their two consecutive terms as Kenyan constitution demands.
Among the governors who will be forced to retire is the current Homabay county governor that is His Excellency Siprian Otieno Awiti.Awiti is completing his second term working as the governor of Homabay county after being elected by Homabay residents in 2013 and 2017.
Many aspirants are aiming to replace governor Siprian as the next governor of Homabay county coming 2022 general election.Among the expected aspirants in the race are the former Nairobi county governor doctor Evance Kidero, Current Homabay women representative honorable Gladys Wanga,Orange Democratic Movement party national chairman as well as MP Suba South subcounty honorable John Mbadi,Mister Akelo Misori, Nickolas K'Oriko, Former MP Oyugi Magwanga,Jared Kiasa and Isaiah Ogwe.
Following an online survey that was carried out by some portion of Homabay residents, Kidero appeared on top followed closely by Oyugi Magwanga while Isaiah Ogwe appeared at the last position.Below is the summary of the survey.
