A Blow To President Museveni As Facebook Deletes All His Bloggers' Accounts And Pages

The Ugandan long serving president Yoweri Museven has suffered a blow after Facebook is reported to have deleted more than 50 Facebook accounts and pages of his bloggers.

While holding the presidential press, the senior president's secretary Don Wanyama confirmed that Facebook had deleted the accounts and pages of bloggers associated to president Museveni.

Wanyama condemned the networking App's manager for colluding with the Bobi Wine's strategists in an attempt to remove Museveni from power.

"Shame on the foreign forces that think they can aid and plant a puppet leadership on Uganda by disabling online accounts of NRM supporters" Don Wanyama angrily said.

The Facebook pages for president adviser Jennifer Nakangubi also suffered the same fate of deletion.

One of the county's top blogger allied to president Museveni argued that the NUP political leader Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine occasioned the deletion of their accounts.

Kato urged president Museveni to shut down the whole Facebook social media in Uganda.

Bobi Wine has distanced himself from being associated to accounts deletion allegations and urged the general public to ignore since they are purported to blackmail him.
