Addresing Congregants at a campaign rally in Embu, the deputy president said Mr Odinga betrayed Kalonzo by picking Martha Karua as his deputy.
His remarks came barely few days after Musyoka who Monday declared his exit from Azimio a formation led by Raila Odinga, after the alliance failed to settle on him to deputize Odinga in the August 9 presidential election, posted images engaging his farm workers.
The Wiper leader, who unveiled a running mate with who he will vie for the election, was pictured carrying a cabbage harvested from his farm and in yet another image, he is seen looking after his cows.
Mr Ruto therefore accused Mr Odinga of political deceit.
In Embu, the DP Ruto valued the core role that water plays in agricultural production.
He said that the Kenya Kwanza regime under its Bottom-Up Economic Model will be investing in sustainable irrigation in regions such as Embu to support the cultivation of coffee, tea, horticulture, macadamia nuts, among others. This will boost earnings and make Kenya food stable.
The second in command was flanked by his presidential deputy Rigathi Gachagua, Justin Muturi (Speaker of the National Assembly), Moses Kuria (Chama Cha Kazi), Alfred Mutua (Maendeleo Chap Chap), UDA Gubernatorial Candidate Cecily Mbarire, among others, joined traders and the people of Embu for the County Economic Forum.
