The race for the presidential seat in the coming general election is considered one of the hotly contested seat between the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya Dr.William Ruto, former Prime Minister and Orange Democratic Movement party leader Honourable Raila Amolo Odinga, Amani National Congress and former Vice President Honourable Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi and Murang'a Governor Honourable Mwangi Wa Iria.
Mudavadi will on this coming Sunday launch his presidential bid and he has said that he will make a declaration that will shock many with many predicting that he might announce working together with the Deputy President ahead of the coming election.
However,the political relationship between Musalia and Raila continue to depreciate after the ANC party through their Secretary General Simon Gikuri said that they have not invited the former Prime Minister to attend the event.The two worked together on a NASA coalition against Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto but was defeated by Jubilee coalition.
