City Lawyer Donald B Kipkorir, a close ally of former prime minister Raila Odinga, has sided with Maendeleo Chap Chap Party leader Dr Alfred Mutua and the other parties who have now issued fresh demands to Azimio La Umoja Movement.
The lawyer has noted that As a coalition, every partner should be treated equally with respect and should be involved in all the decisions being made. He stated that the coalition is not for three parties only but a number of parties.
"AZIMIO is a Coalition of like minded Parties & aren’t many. It’s completely out of order for three Parties therein to blindside the other Parties. Coalition demands collegiality, camaraderie & mutual respect. Calling each Party Leader for prior consensus isn’t too high a task." Kipkorir posted on his social media pages.
Mutua yesterday led a number of parties in protesting against mistreatment in Azimio and threatened to pull out of the coalition.
