Lands, Housing and Physical Planning cabinet nominee Zachariah Mwangi Njeru has said that he has a net worth of Sh80 million.
While appearing before the National Assembly Committee on appointments, Njeru said his wealth made up of his residence in Nakuru County, parcels of land and investments in groups and Saccos.
He said that he has led teams to achieve targets within timelines and with restrained resources. Njeru further stated that he is a team leader and a go-getter which has made him do well in whatever area he have engaged in.
The nomination of Njeru is not only a personal achievement but one that is being celebrated by millions in Nakuru County.
Popularly known as Zack Njeru, the nominee hails from Bondeni slums of Nakuru.
During and after his various levels of education, Njeru held various managerial positions in public and private sectors where he honed his skills in leadership and policy development.
The CS in-waiting exuded confidence that the affordable housing project will succeed under Ruto’s tenure, noting that every Kenyan has a right to a dignified way of living.
