Political Analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has openly talked about who will be Raila's running mate in the 2022 General elections. According to Mutahi Ngunyi, National Rainbow Coalition Party leader Martha Karua is playing hard to get and therefore the only person who can becomes Raila's running mate is Nakuru's Governor Lee Kinyanjui.
Mutahi Ngunyi has stated that there are many Rift Valle Kikuyu's than the Mountain Kikuyus and Lee Kinyanjui represents the Valley Kikuyus.
"Because Martha Karua is playing HARD-TO-GET, Lee Kinyanjui will be @RailaOdinga Deputy. There are more VALLEY KIKUYUS than MOUNTAIN Kikuyus. Lee represents valley Kikuyus. And because he looks like Mzee Moi, he will also REPRESENT the Kalenjin Nation. IKO SWALI?", reads a statement from Mutahi Ngunyi.
Other politicians that hade been reported to be close to the seat of deputising Raila in the polls include CS Peter Munya,Former lawymaker Peter Kenneth and Wycliffe Oparanya.
