As it just less than a year now remaining for the 2022 August general election to be conducted in the country,siaya county governor Dr Cornel Rasanga Amoth ,has now made it clear to vie for parliamentary seat in the next general election.
Dr Rasanga who is the first Siaya county Governor to be elected back in 2013 ,serving two terms says ,as he is now completing her Governor seat term ,he wishes now to be a members of parliament in Alego constituency Siaya county.
The 64 years old who is also a member of thepp orange Democratic Movement party lead by Hon Raila Amollo Odinga , says he wants now to be able to complete the plans,that he stated back in 2013 and which are not yet completed,as the remaining period will not allow him to do so.
Rasanga urges Siaya county leaders including members of parliament to ,slow down the 2022 general election fire and focus on completion of the big agendas in the county, saying that after completing the development of the county ,it will be now free time for everyone to do politics.
