Over the past few days, the no-nonsense Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been insisting to the members of the public that an amount of up to 24 Billion was stolen by individual CS's and PS's in the Uhuru Government just few days to the swearing in of President Ruto into office.While speaking yesterday during the launch of the Affordable Housing Program in Sterehe Nairobi, the Deputy President still stood firm to his stand that he will name the specific individuals in the Government so that all Kenyans will be able to know them.
While weighing in on the matter, COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has told the Ruto Administration to be tough on these individuals if the allegations are indeed true. ''These are shameless people and Government must narrow down on them if indeed it is true that some individuals did run away with Sh. 24 Billion.'' stated the Cotu Secretary General.
While addressing the Deputy President, Mr. Atwoli commended the DP and even told the him to come out and mention the individuals and even blacklist them from ever being in politics. ''This is my appeal to this Government and the Deputy President to come out and mention and blacklist these people so that in future they will not be able to talk about politics of Kenya.'' stated the COTU SG.
According to Francis Atwoli, using political offices as an opportunity to loot is totally wrong and the people responsible should be dealt with accordingly. Also watch the video using the link below;
