Museveni Prepares To Address Ugandans

General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is a Ugandan politician and retired senior military officer who has served as President of Uganda since 1986. Yoweri Museveni was born on 15 September 1944 in Ntungamo Uganda. He was involved in rebellions that toppled Ugandan leaders Idi Amin and Milton Obote before he captured power in 1986.

Yoweri Kaguta Museveni won the presidential elections in January this year. He defeated his close opponent the Former Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine. He was sworn in despite Bobi Wine and his followers protested the outcome claiming that the elections were marred with irregularities.

According to a tweet by President Museveni, he said that he is going to deliver an address today on matters pertaining to the security of the Nation.

"I will deliver an address today on matters pertaining to the security of the nation. I call upon you to tune in to the different Radio and Television stations at 8:00pm." Tweeted by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
