The former prime minister Raila Odinga has been on a three day tour of Mount Kenya region where he has been engaging the people on what he stands for when elected president in 2022.

During his tour, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader also had the opportunity to engage the youth in different areas including Nanyuki on how he intends to empower them as president.

Through the information shared by the party's official social media platforms, the former prime minister will leave the region today and is expected to make several stopovers to engage the people on his way back to Nairobi.

Some of the areas that he is expected to engage the people include, Naromoru, Katarina in Nyeri county, Kenol in Murang'a county, Juja and Githurai of Kiambu county.

Raila's visit to the region is part of his effort to secure the vote-rich area ahead of 2022 and assure the people that he has good intentions for them if he becomes president.
