Rift Valley Leader Joins Kenya Kwanza

With only a few days until the next general elections, which, according to the current Kenyan constitution, are held every five years, many political contenders across the country are seen campaigning for votes for their various elective political positions as MCAs, MPs, Senators, Women Reps, and Governors ahead of the polls.

On the other hand, the top political race is not far behind, with former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga of the ODM party and his rival, Kenya Kwanza Alliance flag bearer Honorable William Samoei Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, appearing to be the frontrunners.

The two political heavyweights are thought to have popularized their political parties in many parts of Kenya, making them more popular than other presidential candidates vying for the position, which is expected to stay vacant in August.

President Kenyatta, who is presently spending his final term in office, will step down in August after serving two years as President of Kenya.

When the Deputy Governor of Nakuru County joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance brotherhood during their rally, it was a huge boost.

According to the Ravine News, Honorable Erick Korir has pledged to support Kenya Kwanza Alliance gubernatorial candidate Honorable Susan Kihika in the Nakuru gubernatorial election.

His boss, Honorable Lee Kinyanjui, is a major supporter of Odinga's Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance, with whom they were elected in the 2017 general elections. Kinyanjui's gubernatorial seat will be defended by the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance ticket.

This was a significant boost for the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, particularly at a time when their flag bearer, Honorable William Samoei Ruto, is seeking national support for his presidential campaign.
