Bahati constituency member of parliament Hon. Kimani Ngunjiri has this evening given a presser on matters of politics. Bahati's address was mainly on matters pertaining to the United Democratic Alliance party. There have been rumours of troubles in the newly formed party, these come after the party lost terribly in the just concluded by-elections.
Earlier in the day, Kimilili member of parliament Hon. Dismus Barasa shocked many when he announced that he will be taking four months to leave to consult with his Western region counterpart on the unity of the Luyha Nation. Many concluded that Barasa has left the Tanga Tanga camp. T5his further fuelled speculations of troubles in the party.
Ngunjii in his presser rubbished claims of Barasa ditching the party, he said it is okay to consult and even leaders from his region too should consult. However, Ngunjiri revealed that there is a problem going on at the party. he exposed party officials taking money from potential politicians aspiring to vie for various seats in 2022 using the party's ticket.
He said that nobody has given anyone authority to take money from such politicians, he added that nobody has also been given any instruction to recruit officials at ward or constituency levels. Ngunjiri confirmed that the party has only county coordinators therefore anyone purporting to be a party official is a scam.https://fb.watch/4n6rPUiws0/
