Former IEBC Commissioner Lands a Job Few Days After She Returned to Kenya

Former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioner Dr Roselyn Akombe has secured a new lucrative job.

Dr Akombe who recently came back to Kenya years after she left the country after the 2017 general election, took to social media where she revealed her newest job.

She has been appointed to serve as Chief of Peacebuilding Strategy and Partnerships at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA)

Her office is based in New York City in the United States of America. Dr Akombe has thanked God for blessing her with the job

"Grateful for the appointment to serve as Chief of Peacebuilding Strategy and Partnerships at @UNDPPA

"Love this beautiful view of New York City from my office, despite the cloudy & cold weather. Always grateful to God for his blessings," she noted.

It should be noted that Dr Akombe fled to the US following the contested 2017 presidential elections which were nullified by the Office of the Chief Justice.

She recently came back to Kenya but it seems her stay in the country was only short-lived.
