Barely a few hours before the famous Mashuja Day celebration permanent Secretary of interior and coordination of internal affairs has now taken to his Facebook page to thank the residents of Kirinyaga county for their support in preparation for the Heroes day celebration.
According to the Permanent Secretary, the residents of the county have played a key role in the preparation of the wanguru stadium which will be hosting the National event which will be presided by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
This marks another year where the country is celebrating the achievements of our great grandfathers who played a key role in fighting for our independence during the pre-colonial times and hence deserves recognition among the people to be recognised by the head of state are those who have done much to the country.
