Uhuru's Strategist Reacts to Ruto's Claims, Says What Uhuru Usually Does Late in The Night

President Uhuru Kenyatta doesn't oversleep and is not as lazy as Deputy President William Ruto is trying to make him look, strategist Mutahi Ngunyi has said.

Ruto on Monday said that he was the one who did most of Uhuru's campaigns and held several meetings as the President slept at home.

But Ngunyi has rubbished these claims, pointing out that the President is actually a person who wakes up very early contrary to what Ruto is claiming.

He says that Uhuru sleeps very late and gets up early in the morning, confirming that he has been part of Uhuru's late night and early morning meetings.

Ngunyi, in a tweet, confirms that what Ruto is saying about the Head of State is a lie, terming Uhuru a very organized and detailed leader.

"Uhuru Kenyatta is the most discussed politician, but the least understood. This man is detailed. He interviewed me for one whole year, before hiring me. We have SPENT many NIGHTS in his boardroom and HELD many 6.am meetings. Ruto is a liar," he says.

Ngunyi is reported to be operating from the State House in Nairobi, and is also reported to be among the strategists Uhuru has deployed to ensure that ODM leader Raila Odinga takes over from him.

He has been repeatedly bashing Ruto and his presidential bid, with the Daily Nation listing him among the three Uhuru's strategists helping Raila.
