Former meru County Governor Hon Peter Munya has today said that DP William Ruto's Cunning character as well as the ability to confuse voters by using their current sufferings shouldn't be assumed especially this time when Kenyans are facing an economic crisis brought about by ongoing Ukraine and Russia War.
Speaking when he accompanied Martha Karua in Nakuru on Friday, the leader who seemed to be challenged Azimio grassroots leaders to continue selling Raila's 2022 Presidential Bid in the villages and not to only wait when the Azimio team visits the region said that DP Ruto and Gachagua are dangerous and that they (Azimio) can't imagine letting the locals believe in their manifestos. For example, Peter Munya gave a scenario where DP Ruto was visiting the Mt Kenya region between 2013 and 2017 pretending to have been sent by Uhuru to launch development projects only to campaign for his 2022 Presidential Bid which has already faced another blow after the appointment of Martha Karua.
"Politics of blackmail, dishonest and con have become the order of the day in Kenya Kwanza, do you want such a thing to be transferred in Azimio? We want to prove them wrong. They have been saying that Nakuru is a UDA Zone but I want to assure our leaders, that this is an Azimio Zone. Please I beseech you my people, let's not underrated these people (Ruto+Gachagua). Let's sell Raila," Munya spoke in Kiswahili as Excited residents dropped Baba na mama Chants.
