High Temperatures In Mwangi's Camp As EACC Goes For His Wife Over Ksh 542 Million Contract

High temperatures have continued to be felt in the Former Murang'a county governor Honourable Mwangi Wa Iria after the department of Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, EACC reported to have reached a decision of freezing Mwangi Wa Iria's wife account over the five hundred and forty two million project, (Ksh. 542 million).

According to the source, it has reported that from EACC report, reveals that Mwangi Wa Iria's wife got a contract from the county government of Murang'a and it was through illegal access.

Therefore, as a result, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission EACC demanded the two to surrender their two properties which is reported to be located at Nairobi and one in Nyeri to the Government.

It is reported that, there have been several scandals linked to the family of the former governor of Murang'a. It is reported that the governor used his power to swindle the county funds only to initiate projects which are reported benefiting only himself, his wife and his associates.
