"Young People Don't Want History" Vocal Governor Speaks After Attending Ruto's Mega Mombasa Rally

Since ditching the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance to Kenya Kwanza Camp, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has been hitting out on the Raila Odinga's side arguing that they do not have an agenda for Kenyans.

Mutua was among key leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza Team who accompanied Ruto during Mombasa rally where they popularized their coalition and the DP's presidential bid.

Taking to his Twitter account shortly after the rally, Mutua argued that youths do not want history, and are ready for a team that has solution to their challenges.

"The people of Likoni, Mombasa and Sarajevo in Nyali constituency listened keenly as we spelt out real and tangible change that will grow the pockets of Wananchi as a Kenya Kwanza administration."

"The huge audiences were made up of young people who do not want history, but real solutions for their life today and tomorrow. Kenyans are suffering and they know that in the hands of William Ruto and some of us who are known workers, Kenya will never be the same again. The coastal tour continues," he tweeted.

Ruto has so far toured Taita Taveta and Kilifi Counties urging the residents to support his candidature in the August polls.
