At a press conference conducted yesterday at the Bomas of Kenya, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission chairperson Mr. Wafula Chebukati said that United Democratic Alliance (UDA) leader Dr. William Ruto has been declared the constitutionally elected President of the Republic of Kenya.
Some members of the IEBC complained that the procedure was muddled and that they didn't want to be associated with the election's outcome, but the vote went forward nevertheless. And now, just hours after this article was published, Raila Odinga's staff has come out to talk about the events their leader will be attending in Nairobi. According to his press secretary, Dennis Onsarigo, the ODM party leader will be present at the Kenyatta international conference center.
He will be speaking at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) on the just concluded general elections, and the press has been asked to cover the event.
