Situation at Bomas of Kenya on Saturday August 13th [Photo| Courtesy]
Unlike in the past couple of days when the Bomas of Kenya auditorium was buzzing with activities as IEBC officials raced against time to verify Presidential election results from across the country, the floor of this iconic facility has now become empty as a new arrangement sets in.
In a pictorial update of the current situation at Bomas by 'NTV' at 10am today on August 15, it was confirmed all that verification tables on the floor had been removed and a new arrangement put in place in ahead of the final results release.
That at the same time, the diplomats area in the auditorium is slowly being occupied unlike in the previous days when it had few people.
Additionally, that security has been beefed up and below are some of those photos depicting the situation;
The above pictured emptiness on the floor of the auditorium is basically courtesy of the verification process having come to its end.
In the past couple of days, there were hundreds of IEBC's returning officers from all over the country having occupied the auditorium as they waited to have their results verified but they've since vacated the floor after completion of the same.
The diplomats, journalist and invited guests have so far occupied their designated sections as they wait on the IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati to make the final announcement.
