Why Only 120 Law Makers Were Allowed In The House During State Of Nation Speech By President

The President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to give his speech in the parliament concerning the state of the nation. This is will be his 8th speech since he ascended to power in 2013. During this address to the national assembly, the head of state gives the true picture of how the country is operating. He is also expected to give guidelines in different sectors as the President.

Many people have been waiting eagerly to hear President's speech. Some have speculated on what Uhuru may talk about. MP Ndindi Nyoro has challenged the the head of the state to shed light on the case of DCI George Kinoti. According to Nyoro, the President should outline when Kinoti will start serving his four months in jail.

The convoy carrying Mr Kenyatta has arrived at the parliament building this afternoon. The number of law makers who are scheduled to attend the event are 120 only out of 390. The house has stated that the selection was done in order to observe social distance
