"You Will Be Treated Like Any Other Ordinary Citizen" Close Ally Of Ruto Tells Uhuru Kenyatta

A close ally of Kenya Kwanza Alliance leader Dr William Ruto has blamed the media for continued publication of headlines about DP Ruto opening a prob on President Uhuru Kenyatta after retirement.

In a video posted on his social media platforms, Kimilili member of Parliament Hon. Didmus Barasa has assured the president that Kenya Kwanza Alliance administration shall not innitiate any form of probe or prosecution against the outgoing president.

Didmus, who is also defending his seat on a UDA ticket said that the president has been unfair to them in Kenya Kwanza Alliance but they would not revenge by prosecuting Uhuru after retirement. He said they politicians allied to the deputy president have been unfairly treated by president Kenyatta through use of independent constitutional officers, but they would not revenge when Kenya Kwanza ascend to power.

He said that the Kenya Kwanza administration shall strive at letting the constitutional offices function independently and without interference of influence from the executive. Unlike President Kenyatta whom he blamed for misusing government resources and goverment officers for political gains, Barasa promised a more law-abiding government so as to deliver to kenyans.

However, the vocal Kenya Kwanza politician said that after retirement, the president will be like any other ordinary citizen. Therefore he could be prosecuted to the full extent of the law in the event he will be involved in commission of any criminal or illegal acts.
