As the time towards 2022 general elections continue to draw near, political realignments have started taking shape with now communities preparing themselves on tribal lines having the will and wish they vote as a block without having a scattered voting approach.
The recent community to have the plans to be united is the Gusii community that have their home counties in Kisii and Nyamira counties. Seventeen elected members of parliament across Kenya with the Kisii decent have now promised to unite as one and support a national party which will cater for the demands of the community, they have said if any of the national existing parties fail to heed to their call, they have the power and capacity to come up with a Gusii party.
Notable in the presser were MPs Simba Arati of Dagoretti North and Slyvanus Osoro of South Mugirango, the two at one time fought in Kisii event attended by Raila and Ruto because of different views, Arati for Raila and Osoro for Ruto. Today the two vocal legislators have finally agreed on ideologies as they start the journey to speak as one in the coming elections. Here is the link;
