Once again the day has brought more questions to Kenyans concerning presidential candidates. As Raila Odinga camped in Garissa hunting for the residents and local leaders support, Gedion Moi, who was recently endorsed as KANU party 2022 flag bearer accompanied Hon. Cyrus Jirongo to Kalonzo's home.
We shift our interest to Moi-Jirongo-Kalonzo indoor meeting. Off course it's an eye-opening meeting that Kenyans would want to know more about it. The questions below would most probably come to your mind when you see the two (Kalonzo and Moi) holding talks.
1. What next for OKA? Moments back, top political front-runners from different parties joined hands to form one party, One Kenya Alliance. Unfortunately, there hasn't been something promising from the OKA principals. If a section of them meet without involving others, then there is only one possibility, OKA is divided and we should be smelling betrayal.
2. What is Moi's Mission: Gedion Moi is possibly becoming the third most serious presidential contendant after Raila Odinga and William Ruto. Most people see him as Ruto's biggest opponent, especially having come from the same tribe, he is going to grab a share of Rift Valley votes. What's his main target? Is he set to run for presidency, if not who will he provide backup for? Does this meeting mean that they will have a Kalonzo-Moi-Jirongo movement to run for the top seat?
3. Will Kalonzo-Moi coalition be coming soon: If there is something that should come out of their meeting, then it should touch on how to challenge for presidency while united. The two are however heavily linked with supporting Raila Odinga come 2022.
4. Who should be worried: Definitely, this meeting raises the eyebrows of other top leaders who would be interested to form coalitions with Kalonzo and Moi. Mudavadi and Wetangula could be worried of the death of OKA, Raila could be scared of loosing Ukambani votes while Ruto could loose some of Rift Valley votes to Moi. Who among these would be more disappointed with this meeting?
Dear reader, what is your thoughts on Kalonzo-Jirongo-Moi meeting? Should we expect more big news than how simple it looks? Drop your thoughts below.
