United Democratic Alliance Party (UDA) held its primaries on Saturday, 28 November, 2022 as the race to replace Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome as the area Member of Parliament hots up.
The Party finally settled on Chege Njuguna as the United Democratic Alliance Party flag bearer in the forth coming Kandara Parliamentary mini-polls.

Chege secured the UDA party ticket for Kandara Constuency seat after garnering 7,826 votes against his opponent Titus Njau who came second with 5,335 votes while Stephen Mwaura was in third position with 4,414 votes.
