Kirinyaga women representative Wangui Purity Ngirici has launched a scathing attack at former prime minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
The Tanga Tanga allied lawmaker was making her remarks after the Orange Democratic Movement ODM party leader finally showed signs of breakthrough into Mt Kenya politics.
According to MP Ngirici, ODM camp should not be amused by the heroic welcome of the ODM boss by the residents.
She warned that Odinga's unexpected popularity jn Mt Kenya would not last long, not even before the 2022 general elections.
The DP Ruto ally likened Odinga's recent popularity to Oranges being grown at the mountain saying they only appear appealing but end up tasteless.
"Oranges don't do so well in high altitude areas, they end up being tasteless, " Wangui Ngirici posted on her Facebook page.
Here are what netizens said on her indirect attack at Odinga:
"Now it is oranges, originally it was pork! Yote tutakula.A wheelbarrow is likely to kill you in mountains! Avoid it!"
"Don't be ignorant ! Oranges give the most essential vitamin C that's why we love eating oranges everyday"
"Wheelbarrows don't do well on mountains, they crush badly plus the driver and passenger"

"You talk of bottom up but can't understand value addition to oranges can be done for the consumer in higher altitude to also enjoy"
