
Former Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma is having tough competition in the race of Kisumu gubernatorial quest with incumbent Governor Anyang' Nyong'o being in the race for his second and final term.
Latest opinion polls by Mizani Africa has revealed that incumbent Governor Anyang' Nyong'o is still the most preferred candidate while Jack Ranguma who was the the first time governor in Kisumu followed from a distance as Awuor Berly Meso finished third.
In the results, Nyong'o was ranked at 59% as his immediate candidate who is Ranguma came at 39.4% a marginal difference of close to 20% as Berly Meso finished third with 1.4% with 0.2% of voters undecided.

Anyang' Nyong'o has been favoured very much considering his ODM political which is very rooted in Kisumu County bearing in mind that the region is Raila Odinga's stronghold hence a huge boost with his latest remarks of urging the residents to vote only ODM allied candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
